- 1. Preheat the french press by running hot water in it and on the plunger. (hot, not boiling.)
- 2. Place about 3-5 spoonfuls of coffee grounds. I use the ground blend. (Not super fine or fine but the one I use looks pretty fine to me, like regular coffee grounds.)
- 3. Mix a little hot water in so that the grounds and the water mix nicely together, then stir.
- 4. Now, add hot water up to the top of the french press leaving about an inch of room from the top.
- 5. Place the plunger in the press and press down until you can't anymore.
I've had this cute little french press for forever but I've neglected using it because I didn't know how. I read the directions but what kept throwing me off is the type of coffee grounds you are supposed to use. Finally, I Googled it. In case you're wondering how to use your own french press too, here's how to do it:

Here are my top Netflix picks for a Sunday with nothing to do. 1. Gossip Girl 2. Comedy Bang Bang 3. 90210 4. The B in Apartment 23 5. Hart of Dixie In honor of National Video Game Day, which is today, I thought I would do a little gamer post. A part of me really misses the video games of the 90's. You know, Nintendo classics. I've always liked a little hidden gem called Castlevania Blooding. I would spend countless hours playing that game. Video games these days aren't the same but they have greatly improved in the graphics department THANK GOODNESS! I'm not a big fan of sports games or car racing games because there's no adventure. I'm kind of a sucker for quests, achievements, and character combat. Anyone who knows me now, knows how much I love playing WoW which has an abundance of quests and character combat. I'm also a fan of Assassin's Creed, Skyrim, COD, Zelda, and of course the ever popular Halo. I just started playing Diablo so I can't tell you too much yet. (I know i'm late the bandwagon.) I'm excited to hear people's experiences with the new game Destiny. I'm a lot more interested in hearing about that than the new iphone 6 that's for sure.
OK I'll get to the goodies of this post... I could go on and on about video games. If you haven't heard of this site already then feel free to waste some hours and thank me later. This website has old school games you can play online so you don't need the old school gaming system. The website is: snesfun.com. I don't need to explain how wonderful it is, go check it out and you'll see. It's completely free! Now don't waste anymore time, go game! Really into Venti Skinny Soy Lattes from Starbucks! Heathy version that tastes great. Give it a try! Obsessed with this chair I was sitting pretty in at Art House Sound waiting to do some voice over work. I love when companies are stylish! Excited to get my #VSSPORTSBRA #VOXBOX from #INFLUENSTER. I'll be blogging about the complementary products soon! |
