Pretty crazy I know.... but granted this is a raw recipe so it's not your cookies n' cream-full of sugar-ice cream that you're used to. It's more like a Sherbet or Italian Ice, kind of Ice Cream but those don't roll off the tongue so well.
Ingredients:
1. Frozen Strawberries
2. Unsweetened Almond Milk (Or sweetened)
3. Spectrum Coconut, Cocoa, Chia, & Flax Decadent Blend. (Used for baking but I always sprinkle mine on top of things)
Optional:
Nuts to go on top, I used almonds.
Agave Sweetner if you just really want something super sweet.
Other fruits. I'm going to try pineapple and banana next!
Other Milk Flavors. They have a chocolate almond milk and coconut milk will definitely give it more of a summertime feeling.
The Process:
1. Put frozen strawberries in the blender or food processor.
2. Pour the milk in the blender.
3. You can either save the Decadent Blend for after and sprinkle it or mix it in with the blender.
4. Blend. Unless you have an awesome blender this part takes awhile. You have to keep mashing the strawberries down so the blade will hit them.
5. Put in a bowl and add any toppings you chose!
The Mathematical:
1 cup strawberries || 35 Calories
1 cup Almond Milk || 30 Calories
1 tablespoon Spectrum Decadent Blend || 35 Calories
_______________
ONLY 100 CALORIES :)
